      <image:caption>With nearly a decade of experience in teaching Pilates, I've developed a deep passion for its transformative power. Pilates is not only an excellent tool for enhancing core stability, breathwork, and alignment, but it's also highly effective for rehabilitation, complementing my manual therapy practice perfectly. By focusing on these core principles, Pilates helps counteract the negative effects of modern life, making it a valuable practice for overall well-being. I'm constantly expanding my skills and integrating new concepts into my classes. During the lockdown, I embraced the opportunity to explore a new approach and became a certified Functional Range Conditioning (FRC) coach. FRC resonates with me as a therapist on many levels, offering benefits such as improved joint health, enhanced body control, injury prevention, physical longevity, and greater movement capacity. The synergy between FRC and Pilates is striking, which has led me to develop a unique blend of the two, which I like to call "Pilates-ish." My classes are thoughtfully designed to increase movement capacity and reduce pain and dysfunction, helping my clients achieve a healthier, more resilient body.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>I retired from ‘traditional’ gym based exercise years ago. I became disenchanted with the status quo, I didn’t enjoy the gruelling workouts and the ‘No Pain, No Gain’ mentality. The notion that you need to torture yourself for a workout to be effective, might work in the short term, but it’s nothing but damaging in the long run. If you have collapsed arches, hip imbalance, a rigid spine and shoulders that don’t rotate well - that stuff needs to be addressed before you go thrashing out burpees &amp; deadlifts in the gym. PT sessions with me are orientated around correcting dysfunctional movement patterns. I focus on the importance of joint stacking and improving the sequencing in our gait cycle, which is the foundation of all movement. Training your body’s natural movements and encouraging it to work together as a well-oiled machine, and as a result, eradicate common joint pains. My personal training sessions are demanding, but in an entirely different way from what you might be used to. Prepare to have your body and your brain lit up!</image:caption>
